March Update

Your local policing team has been spending more time out on foot in Wardleworth and Central Ward, speaking with residents and being a more visible presence. This supports the current neighbourhood priorities, including reducing burglaries and helping people feel safe in their day to day routines.

We’ve also been working with community groups to tackle issues like youth-related antisocial behaviour and off road bikes. Recent conversations at the KYP Unique Enterprise Centre and the Bangladesh Association & Community Project have helped guide where we focus our attention and how we respond. 

Alongside this, we’re continuing the long term partnership work happening across Rochdale to strengthen neighbourhoods and support local families, making sure improvements last and that residents feel confident in their community.
